Today I had my "every three months" check up with my neurologist. I am doing much better with my migraines due to a new medication he put me on at my last visit. YAY! In fact, I am doing SO much better that he doesn't want to see me for 6 whole months! YAY AGAIN!
I've been seeing this doctor for 2 1/2 years now every 3 months. During that time, I swear we've tried every medication under the sun to get my headaches under control. Nothing has worked, until now, and in the meantime, I've suffered some pretty horrible side effects. I'm am so glad that this part of my life, for right now at least is stable and I am pretty much not in pain.
Two migraines since my last visit in February. TWO!
Two years ago I had 15-20 migraine days a MONTH, plus 10+ days of just plain headache. Yes, that equals pretty much the entire month. I had a headache pretty much every day. And now I don't! I am overjoyed and happy that something has finally worked out. It isn't perfect, but nothing ever is.
I don't have a headache. :)
Oh, one funny thing. I got a glimpse of my chart. Apparently my case is rated as "moderate complexity." That's really funny to me. I'm not an open and shut case, nor is my case super hard. Right in the middle. I think I like it like that. lol.

That's great news! I remember how often you had those things... is this the same doctor who gave you the seratonin graph? So I guess your brain is moderately complex, huh?
